“I truly enjoyed my first Lomi Lomi massage yesterday. It was way better than a typical massage or one that I've had in the past. As someone who has experienced trauma from emotional abuse this past summer, I have a hard time maintaining balance and stress within my body. I forget to breathe properly and my chest hurts from holding so my stress in it. Tensions build up in my neck, shoulders and other mysterious areas. Insomnia and non restful sleeping have become the norm. Social situations require much effort to keep emotions and anxiety hidden to acceptable social norms.

I decided to try Lomi Lomi after a friend raved about her experience. It sounded as if it was just what I needed to refocus and rebalance myself. The Lomi massage released a lot of negative tension and toxins that had built up in me. I could feel my body relax more and more as I gave into the wave like motions and sounds. I  took my husband to a hotel in Boston as an anniversary gift, and decided to surprise him with a couples massage.   This was his first massage and he also has some shoulder troubles. 

I have been for quite a few massages and this time was my first male therapist. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but it was honestly one of the best massages I have ever had!  Edward blends techniques and incorporates breathing and stretching, and heat which was just dreamy.

AT the center of Edward's Lomi Lomi is the quality of the touch. His techniques and ability to move are very special.
The art of his touch requires (and gives) aloha, in the sense of caring, respect, intention, support and compassion.
He is so incredibly professional and present. It is something I don't enough of in therapists.

The aim of the massage is to mediate Aloha and to create space for self-healing. Edward gave me Aloha during the massage and made room for my own healing.I'm so thankful for that. The effect of the Lomi massage I clearly feel not only on the physical level, but also on the spiritual level.
